Cub Scout Scrapbook Ideas

Getting Started
Start at the beginning--the day he first joins the Cub Scouts. Take as many pictures as possible, from his first meeting to troop activities to milestones. Save pamphlets, brochures, crafts and other items related to his time in the Scouts. You can use all of these when you start putting together your scrapbook.
If you want to do an entire book dedicated to Cub Scouts, look for Scout themed books at craft retailers or online (the Cub Scouts official site sells scrapbooks and papers). If you would rather, purchase a non-themed book and fill it with Cub Scouts memorabilia. At craft stores you can find stickers, embellishments and other Scout-themed items that will fill up your pages.
Putting it Together
To keep with the Cub Scouts theme, use navy blue with yellow trim or other colors related to the organization. Another option is to cut and layer the paper to resemble a Cub Scout bandanna. Start with your color scheme and build up to complete your Cub Scout pages.
Lay out all of your pictures to see what you are working with before you start putting it together. You might notice a theme in your pictures, which will help you decide how to put them together.
Before you start putting together your book, double-check that you have pictures of the whole den and pack. Include everyone's names so you don't forget them over time.
Journaling
Leave room on your pages for journaling, which allows you to record the when, where and who of each picture. It also allows you an opportunity to add thoughts and feelings. For example, you can write, "Bobby was so proud when he earned his Bobcat Badge."

You also might want to include the Cub Scout motto or other phrases that are important to your Scout.
