This is because the restaurant can keep churning out pizzas so long as participants want them, which means no worrying about running out. Try to work a deal where each participant can pay around $12 for an all-you-can eat stamp or ticket. Then, the troop and the restaurant can split the profits.
Auction
The best part about holding an auction, in addition to it being a fun experience, is that it will net a Cub Scout troop 100 percent of the profits, provided it can utilize a venue, like a church parking lot or municipal building, for free. One strategy for obtaining your items is to go around to local businesses and ask for donations of products or services. For example, you could try to get an automobile repair center to offer a free tune up as an auction item. Alternatively, you could see if any parents or supporters of the Cub Scout troop have a cottage or vacation home that they are willing to auction off for a weekend.
Product Sales
Cub Scout troops often teams up with companies that specialize in providing products for fund-raising. According to Boy Scout Trail, some of the most popular products that scouts sell are $1 candy bars, which come in an assortment of different flavors. In most instances, the troop and the company providing the bars will split the profits 50-50. Another fund-raising option is to sell tulip bulbs. Scouts can first gather paid orders from people, and then the troop can use the funds to purchase the bulbs in bulk.
