How to setup Google Voice outside from USA

Google voice, formally Grand
Central, is an online calling service. It
lets you make free calls to any USA,
Canada number. You can also call at
cheap rate to other countries.
Google has launched this service in
USA only.
People outside USA can’t use this
service until it launches in other
countries. But, we can use a simple
trick to get a Google Voice account
outside from USA.
Step 1: Get a USA number
First of all, you have to get an USA
number, where you can receive
incoming calls. The best site for
getting an USA number is TPad.
There you can get a free USA
number. Register there and get an
USA number.
Step 2: Configure
Softphone for TPad
Account:
After successfully registering at
TPad site, you have to download a
small Softphone software and have
to configure it. Ninja Lite is a good
softphone. You can get
configuration details from TPad
website and download link for the
software.
Step 3: Register for Google
Voice:
To register for Google Voice, you
have to use a proxy which can
show your IP location of USA. To
do this, search Google for USA
proxy and use one of them. After
setting up proxy server, go to
Google voice to signup for an
account, you must have a Google
Account to signup at Google Voice.
After signing up, it will ask you for
an USA forwarding number, enter
your TPad account number. Then
Google will call you and you have to
verify your number. After verifying
your number, you can use Google
Voice. Then you can also use
Google Voice without USA proxy
number.
I hope, above steps will help you
getting a Google Voice account.
